Jesus Walks on The Water
Matthew 14:23-25

"...after He had dismissed (the disciples), he went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray. Later that night, He was there alone, the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake."
Jesus sends them out there, prays and waits through the night while they experience the struggle, and then, instead of reaching out his hands and commanding the winds and seas to calm, He walks to them on the water. If all He was interested in was relieving the difficulty He wouldn't have to walk.
But Jesus isn't after the difficulty. He's after the men in the difficulty. He's looking to change everything they think about themselves and about their lives.
